SURROUNDINGS AND ATTRACTIONS

The Vrana Lake Nature Park, based on the largest lake in Croatia very close to the sea and its surrounding area, seems to have been created only for those who do not want to strain too much during a trip to nature. The area is particularly rich in birds, including wild ducks and herons. The park is a real paradise for birdwatchers, who can see the nature from several tidy birdwatchers. As the water of the lake is so-called mixed water (so it is neither salty nor fresh), both marine and freshwater fish live in it, which attracts many fishermen here. The waterway of Lake Vrana is also special because only then can we look at swamps that are completely inaccessible from the mainland or difficult to access.
